5.2 Installation and connection

CAUTION!
The installation and maintenance of the device should only be carried out by
trained personnel!
•
Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
•
Remove the protective foil from the device. Ensure that it has been completely
removed.
•
Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of
the device and is not heat sensitive.
•
Not at any time should you place the device on an inflammable surface.
•
You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,
furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.
•
Keep a minimum safety distance of at least 20 cm to walls or other objects.
WARNING! Danger of fire!
Make sure that there are no flammable materials on and around the installation
site. Keep a sufficient distance on all sides.
•
Do not place inflammable acidic or alkaline materials or cloths close to the
appliance since this may reduce the operational life of the device and may involve
the danger of deflagration.
NOTE!
This device is not suitable for built-in use nor for being set up in multiple in-line
series.
•
Place the device in well-ventilated rooms.
•
Arrange the device so that the power plug are easily accessible.
•
The rear side of the device is fitted with an earthing pin. Please connect the
earthing cable to a copper wire (minimum diameter 2 mm²) in accordance with the
generally applicable safety regulations.
