6.3 Switch unit on/off

The unit is delivered in a switched off condition.
Attention: Never bridge the battery using an external power
source! Danger of explosion!
Switching on:
1. Unscrew unit cover.
2. Open unit cover downwards.
3. Push the on/off switch Ê on the left side of the unit.
4. Check that the display is operational.
5. The unit is switched off by operating the on/off Ê switch.
Attention: Stored data remain stored in the unit even when it is
switched off.
Date and time however do not continue to operate and must be
reset using the PC sotware when the unit is switched on again.
Ê = On/off switch
Ë = Minus terminal (DC powered version)
Ì = Plus terminal (DC powered version)
