Item A:
If your model flies downwards, you must bend the height rudder upwards slightly.
Item B:
If your model flies upwards and then turns down steeply, you must bend the height rudder down
slightly.
Item C:
No trimming required.
Item D:
If your model now flies to the right, the vertical rudder must be turned to the left slightly.
Item E:
If your model now flies to the left, the vertical rudder must be turned to the right slightly.
TIP:
If your aeroplane model turns around its own axis, you can balance this error by slighlty bending the aileron of the wing.
If one of the wing halves is hanging down on the side slightly, you must bend the aileron of this wing half down slighlty and the aileron of the oppo-
site wing upward slightly.
Bending the two ailerons accordingly also allows you to perform spiralling
as you would like it.
8. Commissioning the aeroplane model
Always ensure that no people, animals or objects are put at risk through the operation of the model aeroplane. (risk of injury
or damage) Special care is also required near trees, high-voltage lines, etc. Never operate the engine in closed rooms. In this
conext obsever sections „Intended use" and „Safety instructions".
Before you can now perform the first flight attempts with your model, please read the following basic information on controlling aeroplane models:
The first start
The batteries for the transmitter and receiver are to be charged in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions before the first start.
First carry out a range test of the remote control on the flying site. To this end, switch on the transmitter and then the receiver. Now check the range
by slowly distancing yourself from the model which is held by an assistant. Up to a distance of at least 100 m all rudder functions should be con-
trollable even with running motors. The aerial of the transmitter must be pulled out completely and the aerial of the receiver, which points out
towards the tail, must not be wound up. Ask a start assistant to launch the electric model running at full motor performance in a straight line forward
against the wind, with some run-up and a gentle push, The model must not be thrown upward like a spear or pressed downward.
Our tip:
In order to be able to identify the flight attitude of your model, you should stand at a little distance behind your assistant and look exactly in the fly-
ing direction.
If the assembly was carried out correctly, then the model must go up in a flat angle. Do not attempt to steer it more than necessary. It is only when
the model modifies the flight attitude automatically and e.g. flies a narrow curve, rises too high or wants to plunge, that you can start correcting the
flight attitude via the necessary steering commands. For a sensitive correction of the flight attitude and for selective direction modifications of the
normal flight attitude, only few or momentary control stick movements at the transmitter are necessary.
