Use as designated
The band saw has been designed for cutting metal, cast iron
and plastic materials. You must not cut wood with the band saw.
The shape of the material being cut must be such that it may be
safely clamped in the machine vice and that it prevents the
material being cut from springing out.
The machine cannot be used for works other than for which the
machine has been designed and that are specified in the
Operating Instructions.
Any other use is a use in conflict with the designation. The
manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential damage
and injuries. Please be sure to know that the machine has not
been designed for industrial purposes.
Operator requirements
The operator must carefully read the Operating Instructions
before using the machine.
Qualification
No special qualification is necessary for using the machine
apart from detailed instruction by an expert.
Minimum age
The machine can only be operated by persons over 18 years of
age. An exception includes youngsters operating the machine
within their professional education to achieve necessary skills
under trainer's supervision.

Training
Using the machine only requires appropriate instructions by a
professional or reading the Operating Instructions. No special
training necessary.
General safety instructions
Read carefully these Operating Instructions. Familiarise with the
controls and proper use of the machine. Keep the Operating
Instructions for future reference. The warning plates and labels
with instructions attached to the machine provide important
information on safe operation.
Safe work
Use the machine only on a connection with a safety switch
against stray current of 30mA (RCD).
Keep the place of your work clean!
Any mess in the place of your work may result in injuries.
Consider the environment influences!
Do not expose the machine to rain.
Do not use the machine in a moist or wet environment.
Provide adequate lighting.
Do not use the machine near flammable liquids or gases.
Keep other persons in a safe distance!
Do not let other persons, especially children, touch the machine
and the cable. Keep them in a sufficient distance from the place of
your work.
Provide adequate clothing.
Do not wear any loose clothing and jewels. They could get caught
by the moving parts of the machine. Further, we recommend
wearing safety shoes, protective glasses and ear protectors when
working with the machine. Long hair must be adequately
protected.
Store the machine properly!
Machines not being used must be kept in a dry and locked place,
inaccessible to children.
Do not overload the machine!
Work within the specified power range.
Use the right machine!
Do not use the machine for purposes for which it has not been
designed.
Take care of your machine!
Comply with the servicing regulations and instructions.
At regular intervals, check the machine cable and have it replaced
by an authorised professional if damaged.
At regular intervals, check the extension cable and replace it if
damaged. Keep the handles dry, with no oil and grease.
Be careful!
Pay attention to what you are doing. Work reasonably. Do not use
the machine when you are tired.
WARNING!
Using any other accessory equipment may represent a risk of a
serious injury for you.
Watch out for the feeder cable. Do not pull the cable. Do not
use it to pull the plug out. Keep the cable out of reach of thermal
sources, oil and sharp edges.
Have your machine repaired by an expert only!
This machine meets the applicable safety provisions. Any repairs
may only be executed by an expert, using original spare parts;
otherwise, the user could face a risk of injury.
Children and persons not familiarised with the machine and
persons with limited physical, sensory and mental skills must not
use the machine.
