Fasten the suspension bracket to the radiator. To do this, slide
the bracket over the fastening point of the radiator (see diagram
2), hole with screw thread over hole with screw thread. Insert the
bolt (Philips head) first through the holes without a screw thread,
and then through the holes with a screw thread. Now screw them
as tightly as possible. Secure the screw at the thread end with the
locking nut. Now tighten this firmly.
Slide the radiator with the suspension bracket as far as possible
into the wall bracket, in such a way that the ON/OFF switch is at
the bottom. The holes for the fastening screws are now
completely aligned. Insert both of the fastening screws (with black
cap) first through the wall bracket and then through the
suspension bracket and screw them together firmly.
Ceiling fastening:
The TH1800R can be fastened to the ceiling in the same manner.
Ensure that the radiator is suspended a minimum of 2.5 metres
above the ground and at least 1 metre from side walls and other
obstacles. Ensure that no people, animals or flammable objects
are located directly under the radiator!
Wall and ceiling fastening:
Set the desired radiator
angle: the radiator can
rotate 2 x 30°. To do this,
unscrew the locking nut
(8) and the bolt (10) a
little, and then screw them
tight again after adjusting the angle. Do not point the wall-
mounted TH1800R upwards! This makes no sense and can
damage the ceiling!
Fasten all screws another time firmly and scheck or the heater is
firmly mounted. Now your infra red heater is ready for use.
For personal protection the installation, to which the EUROM
TH1800R is connected, has to be equipped with an earth fall
device (max. 30 mAmp).
Under some circumstances it may be attractive to make a fast
connection between the heater and the main supply, and to operate
the heater with a switch. Because the EUROM TH1800R has a high
