Switching on and operation
Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After
removing packaging, check the appliance for damage or other signs that could
indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance,
but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
Place the unit straight, on a sturdy, flat and horizontal surface. Ensure there is
sufficient space at the back side (air inlet).
Place the shoes/boots that are to be dried for
the appliance and insert the drying hoses into
the boots/shoes. However, make sure that the
warm air that is blown out is then able to escape
again; therefore the hoses must not be inserted
too tightly into the boot/shoe, otherwise the
appliance may overheat!
Check that the control button is '0' (off).
Fully unwind the electric cable and insert the
plug into a suitable 220/240V socket.
By now turning the ON/OFF button anticlockwise
to ON, you switch on the appliance. It will draw in air from the rear, heat this up
in the appliance, blow this out through the hoses which will dry out the
shoes/boots. During operation, the indication light will be illuminated.
You turn off the appliance by turning the ON/OFF button clockwise to '0' (OFF).
Timer
The heater is equipped with a timer. When you wish to use that, do not turn the
ON/OFF button to ON, but from the OFF position clockwise to the required number
of minutes of operation (max. 120). The heater will now switch
on and the indicator light will be illuminated. Once the set time has ended, the
heater will automatically switch off (the light be no longer be illuminated).
