Use
CAUTION!

The product must be correctly assembled before use.
■
Rinse all inserts immediately after use to prevent the formation of germs! Do not allow
any food residues to dry on (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Cutting Sticks, Wedges or Thick Slices
CAUTION!
■
Cut up food only by pressing down on the plunger! Do not attempt to push food
through the cutting inserts by hand.
1. Assemble the product in the manner described in the "Assembly" chapter, "Grid in-
serts and plungers" section. Make sure that you use the appropriate plunger.
2. Prepare your food: Wash your food and remove stalks and, if necessary, any peel.
Cut solid foodstuffs such as onions or carrots into quarters or halves.
3. Place the food with the fl at side facing downwards onto the grid insert.
4. Press the plunger holder down swiftly and fi rmly. ATTENTION: Do not force it!
Repeat, if necessary.
Grating, Cutting Juliennes or Thin Slices
CAUTION!
■
Never cut up smaller items of food or the ends of larger pieces of food without the
fi nger guard!
■
Danger of injury! Only hold the fi nger guard by the holding grip. Do not reach over it!
■
Place the fi nger guard with the wide side across the frame. Make sure that it does
not come into contact with the blades in order to prevent any damage to the blades
and the fi nger guard.
1. Assemble the product in the manner described in the "Assembly" chapter, "Grating
Inserts" section.
2. Prepare your food: Wash the food which is to be chopped up and peel it if necessary.
Cut large types of food into halves or quarters.
3. Place the food that you want to chop up onto the pins in
the fi nger guard. The grip on the top of the fi nger guard
is pushed out.
