must be used on a properly
grounded outlet suitable
for the plug. In the event
of an electrical short circuit,
grounding reduces the risk
of electrical shock.
• Do not, under any
circumstances, cut or remove
the grounding contact from
the plug. Please do not use
an extension cord or adapter.
• Consult a qualified electrician
if the grounding instructions
are not completely understood,
or if doubts exist as to whether
the appliance or your power
outlet is properly grounded.
• The installation of a residual
current device (safety switch)
is recommended to provide
additional safety protection
when using electrical
appliances. It is advisable
that a safety switch with a
rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA
be installed in the electrical
circuit supplying the appliance.
See your electrician for
professional advice.
