19 Be careful
– Pay attention to what you are doing.
Use common sense. Do not use the
power tool when you are distracted.
20 Check the power tool for any
damages
– Before continuing to use the power
tool, protective mechanisms and
lightly damaged parts should be
carefully examined for perfect and
proper functioning.
– Check whether the moving parts
function with no difficulties and do
not jam and check whether parts are
damaged. All parts must be mounted
correctly and meet all requirements in
order to ensure perfect operation of
the power tool.
– Damaged protective mechanisms and
parts must be repaired or replaced
properly by an authorised specialist
workshop if no other course of action
is specified in the operating
instructions.
– Damaged switches must be replaced
by a customer service workshop.
– Do not use power tools on which the
switch cannot be switched on and off.
21 CAUTION!
– The use of other tool inserts and
other accessories may pose a risk of
injury.
22 Have your power tool repaired by
an electrician
– This power tool meets current safety
requirements. Repairs may only be

carried out by an electrician using
original replacement parts, otherwise
this may pose an accident risk to the
operator.
– If connection cables are damaged,
they must – in order to reduce the
risks – be replaced by the
manufacturer or by their customer
service representative.
6 – Safety instructions
relating specifically to
the equipment
WARNING! When carrying out
setting and maintenance work
pull out the mains plug.
• Do not use the saw to cut up firewood.
CARE! There is a risk of injury to
hands and fingers from the
moving saw blade.
• The saw is fitted with a safety
switch (11) to prevent it restarting
after a voltage drop.
• Use a cable drum only in the unrolled
condition!
• Ensure good lighting.
• Operators must be at least 18 years
old. Trainees must be at least
16 years old and under supervision.
• Keep the workplace free of wood
waste and other objects.
• Persons operating the saw bench
must not be distracted.
Note the direction of motor and
saw blade rotation.
