3.4.2 Commissioning the stirrer
DANGER!
Danger of injury and material damage
Never open the cover of the tank when the stirrer is running. Always wait to open the cover until the stirring shaft has come to a complete
stop. The safety shutdown on the cover is not intended to switch off the stirrer. Always switch off the stirrer using the main switch and pull
out the plug.
• Before each use, check that all safety devices are tightly secured and functioning.
• The user must wear close fitting clothing. Avoid wearing loose clothing! This can become caught in the stirrer and pose a hazard.
• Never reach into the stirrer while it is operating.
• Wait until the motor has come to a halt after turning off! Never touch small parts that are still in motion.
1. Fill the MilkPot with water and the corresponding amount of milk substitute powder. Note the maximum fill level as marked on
the inside of the tank.
2. Close the cover.
3. Connect the mains plug to the socket.
4. Press the main switch I (On). The device begins to mix.
Note: The device has a safety shut-off. If the device is switched on and you open the cover, then the device will shut off automatically.
The device will start to stir again as soon as you re-close the cover.
5. Once the milk substitute mix is stirred, turn off the stirrer again. To do so, press the main switch 0 (off).
6. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
7. Only open the cover once the stirrer has stopped moving.
Note: The duration of mixing and the results depend on several factors. Among others, the water temperature and powder quality have
a major influence. The information on the milk powder sack must be followed for the correct preparation of the milk substitute.
The device is not designed for continual operation.
For the process of heating the MilkPot, please see the MilkPot50 (item no. 141450) milk warmer operating instructions.
