4.3 Emptying the liquid collector
The hood is equipped with an electric sensor that turns it off immediately if condensation builds up or if liquid is accidentally
spilled inside the vent. The display will highlight this error with an "8" that flashes for one minute.
This system works even when the vent is turned off. You must empty the liquid collector to reset the display and use the hood
again.
Warning! Cut the electricity input to the hood to make sure the system does not have live
electricity (Fig 2.1 Installation Manual). To do this, turn the handle (Fig. 5.8-X) and open the hood cover. You
should place the liquid collector as shown by the arrow.

To make the job easier, you should dry all of the inside of the vent, open the right shutter (Fig.5.9-X), remove the grease filter
(Fig.5.9-Y) by lifting it using the handle (Fig.5,9-W), then remove the grease collection plate (Fig.5.9-Z) also by lifting it using the
handle (Fig.5.9-K).
You can now open the left vent shutter (fig. 5.10-X) and carefully dry the inside.
