2. HOW TO CARE FOR AND RECOGNISE PROBLEMS
WITH THE HOB
Chore
Everyday cleaning (finger marks,
splashes, spills, dirt [excluding sugar])
Build-up of burnt spillages, spilled
sugar.
Spills on the control panel
Instructions
1. Turn the hob off.
2. Wipe with a wet sponge or use a
specific product for glass-ceramic
surfaces.
3. Rinse and dry with a dry cloth.
4. Turn the hob back on..
Soak the area to be cleaned with hot
water. Use a special scraper suitable
for glass-ceramic surfaces to scrape
off the dirt. Remove the residue with a
clean sponge. Dry.
Wipe the control panel with a sponge
or cloth.
Dry it with a paper towel or a dry cloth.

Warnings
• If you unplug your hob, the "H"
residual heat indicators will no
longer appear.
• Abrasive sponges or detergents
may scratch the glass.
• Use suitable cleaning products only.
• Do not let spillages burn onto your
hob. This could stain it permanently.
• Clean big spillages or spilled sugar
immediately. Otherwise, they could
permanently damage the glass.
• Special scrapers for glass can
cut very easily when the blade is
extended. Use with caution and
keep it out of the reach of children.
The hob may turn off if liquid is spilled
on the buttons of the control panel.
Make sure you wipe and dry the
control panel thoroughly before you
turn the hob back on.
