Remote ignition
unit AOD 1.2
The remote ignition unit provides the current necessary to ignite a test sample. After
the ignition button has been pressed, the ignition wire in the decomposition vessel is
heated so that the cotton thread or the combustible crucible, and thus the sample,
are ignited.
