You can be sure that you have done an excellent
choice. This modular helmet with "full face look" is
the lightest and the most compact of its category.
Ideal for the city and for long drive, available in 2
versions:
Pure Carbon and Pure Glass; effectively, our
engineers from the Lazer R&D team, have developed
a new technology that allows the construction of
composites that provides high performance while
keeping a very light weight.

1. THE SHEll
Pure Carbon version (fig. 1):
4 layers of carbon:
A. Carbon torsion resistant
B. Multi-axial long fibres
C. Organic fibres
D. High tensile satin carbon
Pure Glass version (fig. 2):
4 layers of multi directional organic fibres
(M.D.C.F. – Multi Directional Composite Fibres)
E. Shock resistant fibres
F. Gradual fracture impact resistant long fibres
G. Organic fibres
H. Meshed structured weave continuous fibres
Characteristics:
• Pre-impregnated fibres: the fibres are embedded
homogeneously in the thermosetting resin before
the manufacturing process
• The fibres are bonded in the resin, which provides
both rigidity and resilience for an optimal balance
of their properties, while maintaining a very light

• Variation of the density of the layers according to
the dynamic properties and features which are
required on a specific area of the helmet
2. THE SECURITy
• The MONACO is approved to the Regulation
ECE R22.05 as a P and J helmet ; P as
« Protection » of a full face helmet and J as « JET »
helmet ; this modular helmet can be used in the
opened or closed position
• The impact absorbing liners are made of
3-Densities expanded polystyrene "EPS 3D", this
option provides an optimized performance of
impact resistance for each area of the helmet
• The attachment of the chin guard, with high
strength aluminium screws, ensures a maximum of
safety fastening
N.B.: Side fixing screws resist to facial impacts; but
they are designed to collapse so as not to transmit
the side impact to the temples of the user
• The secure locking of the chin guard (closed) is
provided by metallic spurs and hooks
• Visibility: 3 reflective zones with glass micro-beads
which reflect rays of light to the source, like a mirror.
You can find those reflective zones at the back of
the helmet, on the neck and on the chin curtain
• In case of impact, the chin guard in the lifted
up position moves to the back of the helmet by
absorbing a part of energy
3. THE VENTIlATION: FUll AIR SySTEm (F.A.S.)
• Ventilation is optimized thanks to:
- a chin ventilation with 3 positions (fig. 3 I, J, K)
that allow you to choose the flow direction of the
incoming air: 1. closed, 2. defogging of screen,
3. defogging and helmet ventilation
- a top ventilation in 3 positions: 1. closed, 2. light
ventilation, 3. strong ventilation

• Ventilation air nets
• Ventilation with Venturi effect: The Venturi effect is
a phenomenon of fluid dynamics where the air is
accelerated due to a narrowing of its circulation
area. Thus, the acceleration of the air causes a
drop in temperature providing freshness inside the
helmet
4. PRACTICAl ASPECTS
• Micrometric buckle: ergonomic buckle providing
adjustable and precise harness
• Easy opening with thumb using an external
central button on the chinguard (fig. 4)
• Very compact volume even when chin guard is
lifted up; this provides an aerodynamic stability
• New screen ratchet system that can be quickly
removed
• Improved water-tightness by using a retractive
ratchet system
• Secured screen by using the integrated vent/race
lock at the bottom-centre of the screen
• Chin curtain is made of reflective material which
ensures frontal visibility when chin guard is lifted up
• Tubular visor's trim for a perfect sealing
5. THE COmFORT ANd mORPHO SySTEm PlUS
• 100% removable and washable. High comfort
interior with antibacterial fabric Silverplus
• Morpho System: cheek and head pads available
in several thickness for a perfect fitting to anyone's
morphology
• Ergonomic 3D cheek pads, entirely removable and
washable
• Snap buttons for the earpads
• Circular space created to fit most brands of
loudspeakers for Bluetooth sets
• Acoustic collar for noise reduction
7. THE VISOR (fig. 5)
• Equipped with a WideClear Lumino
(photochromic) screen combined with a Pinlock
anti-fogging screen, for a maximal field of vision.
• The Lumino changes colour (from 20 to 80% of
light transmission) according to the intensity of
incident UV radiation, more UV rays are intense
more your Lumino darkens and vice versa. This
phenomenon gives you a clear vision behind your
visor; it saves and relaxes your pupils by regulating
their expansion and narrowing due to variation of
light intensity of your road.
• The performance of your Lumino visor depends on
external temperature.
ADvICES
VISION
When riding a motorcycle, your life could depend
on a clear vision.
Keep it unhindered by observing theses basic rules:
- Use only genuine face shields
- Tinted face shields are for daytime use only
- Always keep your face shield clean scratch free
- Always keep your field of vision unobstructed
FASTENING
Your helmet will be useless if it's too big or not
properly fastened. Always buy a helmet to your
exact size and always fasten it properly.
mOdIFICATIONS
Never modify your helmet in any way. Modifications
could result in lowering the effectiveness of your
helmet.
