The kit with the provided cables for the battery cabling:
Is wired on the screw terminal "Battery Output" on the motherboard, when the product is delivered with
-
the battery.
-
Is provided in the delivery for the wiring by the client, when the product is delivered without the battery.
C38 and C85 cabinet: The added 5 output card is connected to the "USER2 Output" on the motherboard.
In the C85 cabinet an additional card with 5 outputs can be integrated. This card will be wired in the same
manner to the "USER1 Output" as the existing 5 output card is connected to the "USER2 Output" on the
motherboard. Its operating mode follows the same rules as the already wired 5 output card.
Important: The openings provided in the cabinet must be used. Do not create additional openings, as
doing so may cause the device to malfunction and voids the warranty. (Except designated locations
on the C38 and C85 cabinet)
4 Commissioning
Open the main breaker before connecting
It is imperative to connect the ground wire to the mains connector on the board for security reason.
When the product is delivered without battery: Connect the battery wires to the terminal strip, but do not connect
the battery terminals.
After the electrical connections are made (mains, loads and batteries).
1. Close the upstream mains circuit-breaker.
2. Check the load output voltage. The LED on the motherboard turns red.
3. Connect the battery terminals.
4. Check that the LED on the motherboard confirming its correct operation is illuminated:
5. Connect the ground wire to the cover.
6. Close the cover.
Your equipment is in operation when the 3 green LEDs (mains, battery and charger) are illuminated.
Attention:
C38 and C85: As long as there is voltage on at least one of the "Outputs S1 to S5", the "USER2 Output" is
considered under voltage and the LED doesn't indicate a fault on the "USER2 Output".
5 AESI operation
5.1 Monitoring and warnings
Monitoring
Mains fault (main supply):
If there are no mains.
Charger fault:
If there is no voltage on "USER1 Output".
-
C24: If there is no voltage on "USER2 Output".
-
C38 et C85: If there is no voltage on "USER2 Output" (= if there is no voltage on all the "Outputs S1 to S5"
of the 5 output card)
-
If output voltages are low (overloaded product).
-
If mains fuse is blown / there is no mains fuse.
-
If the product is out of order.
