Mounting Adapter into the machine (example: PEZ 100 DIE-ADAPTER)
DANGER!
Due to the risk of hand or finger injury, never try to reach into the machine before
having assured that the machine is disconnected from the air supply. The machine
has to stand still before changing the adapter or the dies.
CAUTION!
Every machine operator, who is working with the machine, must read and
understand the operating instruction. During the work on or with the machine the
operator has to follow the guidelines of the operating instruction.
The crimp machine is only allowed to be used with mounted dies and die adapter.
The pneumatic Parallel Crimp Machine AT-SC MK II may only be set up and
operated in perfect technical condition, observing all the safety regulations and
considering any possible dangers.
Assure free access to the operating elements of the machine, especially the foot
pedal and the release button. In the case of imminent danger immediately press the
release button. The release button must be within the direct reach of the operator. It
must not be covered.
Check the release button before starting the work on the crimp machine.
When working with the pneumatic Parallel Crimp Machine AT-SC MK II, do not wear
loose clothing, jewellery or long, loose hair that can get caught in the mechanism.
Work with caution.
In cases of a machine malfunction, production must be stopped and the
malfunction must be fixed before continuing work with the machine.
Only one person is allowed to work on or with the machine at a time.
Only trained personal are allowed to work on or with the machine.
It is only allowed to work with the specified crimping force.

Push the release button.
Insert the adapter (1) down into the adapter

Press the locking device (2) downwards and
hold it.

Pull the upper part of the adapter up and insert
the upper adapter into the adapter reception.
This process has to be executed smoothly
(without force), otherwise the danger of canting
will arise. Insert the adapter (1) until stop into
the adapter reception.

Release locking device (2).

If necessary move the die adapter (1) back and
forth, so that the locking device (2) can lock in
place.

Push the release button.

Push the power button.
