General Information
Filtering occurs during a cycle that is run every 12 hours. This cycle
consists of 2 phases. Depending on the configuration of electrical
consumption limitation (see related chapter), they are divided as
follows:
Start
(with limitation of electrical consumption)
The hydromassage pumps are turned on for 1 minute each, one
at a time. In this phase, the blower runs continuously.
(without limitation of electrical consumption)
The hydromassage pumps and the blower are activated at the
same time for 1 minute.
Continuation
This phase is the same for both configurations. The filtering pump
and the Clearray™ run for the time remaining in the cycle.
Setting the filtering cycles
To set the filtering cycle:
u Press the "Filter"
key for about 5 seconds. The display
shows the message Fdx, where "x" indicates the duration in
hours.
u Use the "Up"
and/or "Down"
duration. This may be from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 12
hours, which corresponds to constant filtering, since the cycle runs
every 12 hours in any case.
u Press the "Filter"
key again to confirm the selected value.
You will then go to the start time (Fs).
u First set the hour and confirm with the "Filter" key. Then set
the minutes, and press the "Filter" key again to save the set va-
lues and exit programming.
When the function is on, the display will show the respective
symbol.
NOTE: if there is a power outage, the set values will be maintained.
Suspending the filtering cycles
u The filtering cycle may be suspended by the anti-freeze pro-
tection ("Smart Winter" mode) or due to overheated water. Refer
to the respective chapters.
u If the system is in standby mode (see related chapter), the fil-
tering pump stops and is restarted when the system is no longer
in standby mode.
u If there is a power outage during a filtering cycle, or if it oc-
curs prior to the start of filtering and lasts after that time, the
cycle will not start when the power comes back on. Filtering will
be postponed until the next cycle, since the cycle is repeated every
12 hours.

Overheating during filtering cycles
During the filtering cycle, if the water temperature exceeds
the set point by more than 1 °C (2 °F) (see the chapter "Setting the
water heating temperature") and it does not decrease at least 1 °C
(2 °F) in the following 3 hours, the cycle will be suspended until
the temperature does not decrease by at least 1 °C (2 °F) below
the set point value.
Even if the water temperature is high (due to excessive sunlight,
for example), filtering is ensured for at least 3 hours.
Clearray™ (optional)
The Clearray™ reduces the need for chemical products for water
treatment.
u Clearray™ operates automatically and is dependent on pump
activation; it remains off when the hydromassage, blower or even
just the spotlight are on (as it is presumed that there is somebo-
dy in the tub); Clearray™ (where a filtering cycle is active) begins
operating once again 40 minutes subsequent to switching off
the aforementioned functions.
Rapid Filtering ("Istant Clear")
This is recommended after intensive use of the spa and/or is as-
sociated with chemical treatment of the water, to favour the disso-
lution of substances used for disinfection.
u To activate the function, press the "Instant Clear"
display will show the message boo.
u The function lasts 45 minutes (this value cannot be changed).
During this time, the filtering pump and the hydromassage
pumps are turned on as follows:
- hydromassage pump 2 is activated only once for 1 minute.).
- hydromassage pump 1 is activated for the rest of the cycle. (Cle-
array™ is on for the entire duration of the cycle).
NOTE: If the heater is on, it will continue to run normally, unless the
system is configured for limitation of electrical consumption.
u The function stops:
- when another function is activated (with the exception of time
and/or the spotlight).
- when the key is pressed again
NOTE: if you need to activate the anti-freeze protection during ra-
pid filtering, rapid filtering will be stopped to allow the anti-freeze
protection to be started.
■ Activation of hydromassage pumps
The pumps are turned on using the corresponding keys (refer to
the user manual to see which jets are turned on by which pump).
u Press the "Pump1"
Press the "Pump2"
key to turn on the other pump (where
available).
u The pump(s) will run for 20 minutes, and can be turned off
earlier by pressing the aforementioned keys again.
