Switching the hob on and off
Hob
Your hob comes with its own instructions for use. Read all the
notes on safety before using the hob.
The ¡ symbol indicates which control knob belongs to which
hotplate (in the example: front left).
To heat up, turn the control knob clockwise to setting 9.

Once the hotplate has heated up, turn the control knob back

down to the desired setting.
To switch off the hotplate, turn the control knob back down to

setting Û .
The control knobs can be adjusted infinitely.

The directive gives a framework for the collection and recycling
of old appliances, which is valid across the EU.
Dual-circuit cooking zones
With glass ceramic hobs, you can switch on heating surfaces
for large cookware.
Turn the control knob clockwise past setting 9 to setting ó.

After heating up, turn it down to the desired setting as with

normal hotplates.
To switch off the dual-circuit cooking zone, turn the control

knob back to setting Û.
Note: With autofocus hotplates, the dual-circuit cooking zone
switches on automatically. The setting ó on the control knob
has no function.
