Troubleshooting guide
Symptom
The multi-purpose LED is flashing
between red and green.
No light from multi-purpose LED when
switched on.
The multi-purpose LED is red and the
sander slows down to 4,000 rpm when
sanding.
The multi-purpose LED is red and RPM
is slightly reduced.
Brake seal does not work.
The sander has stopped and multi-
purpose LED is red.

Possible cause
Connected to a mains outlet with wrong
voltage .
Power cord not properly attached to the
sander or to the mains socket .
Temperature too high in the sander . Too
heavy long-term load .
Too heavy short-term load .
Worn out brake seal or damaged spindle
bearing .
The tool is in safety mode due to high
temperature .

Solution
Connect the sander to a mains outlet that
matches the nominal voltage of the tool .
Connect it properly .
Reduce the load on the sander for some
time and the sander will speed up again .
Use lighter load and the multi-purpose
LED will automatically change to green .
Check and replace brake seal or spindle
bearing if necessary .
Wait until the tool has cooled down .
