Trouble shooting
E8
Valve position was not set (message appears only with
optimisation or minimisation programs).
 Position valve exactly perpendicular to and above
chuck and press the OP key.
E14
The power clamp device is not clamped.
The measuring run has been started with the device
not clamped correctly.
 Release the wheel and then clamp it correctly.
E15
Corrective factor of recalibration out of range.
During recalibration values were determined which
exceed, or fall short of, the given calibration value.
 Use clamping tool supplied with the machine, or
have basic calibration carried out (service).
E16
During the first recalibration run the calibration weight
was fitted by mistake.
 Unscrew the calibration weight and start the
measuring run again.
E17
Wheel slips on clamping tool. The clamping nut is not
well tightened, the chuck accelerates too quickly. The
machine will stop.
 Firmly tighten the clamping nut, or in special cases
press the START key a little bit longer.

Lifter fault.
 Restart the wheel balancer. Complete the start up

as requested ( 5.1.1).
E50
 The function is activated in the Setting Screen
without key.
 The function is activated in the Setting Screen
without having to initialise the key.
 The function is activated in the Setting Screen and
at the next machine restart the key is removed.

During a measuring run the measured data have been
made useless under the effect of outside pulses (e.g.
vibrations) and measurement was interrupted.
 Repeat the run.
