Plug removal from S7 and S9,5 closure ports
Open the plugs starting by those located at the bottom of the closure (Pic 25).
Pinch between two fingers from the inside of the closure and pull it out of the closure entry port. The cable entry port of the
closure should be perfectly clean before insertion of the prepared cable entry. Proceed to any necessary cleaning.

Prepare the required cable entry and relevant cable. Please refer to the relevant instruction. Insert the prepared ECAM and
cable assembly inside the port. If the correct end position is reached, the ECAM will latch automatically with a click.
Note: Loose tubes or micro modules from upper ECAM ports should be routed right on the surface of the routing
plate. Those form the lower ECAM ports should be routed on top of them.
11. Fusion or Mechanical 3M Fibrlok TM splices
11.1. 5mm thick splice tray (1 PITCH) 2 models
1. Splice tray for 12x heat shrink fusion splices (Pic. 27), which can be installed
in one level. This tray is completely moulded as one piece and the splice

holder cannot be removed. PLC-Splitters cannot be installed in this tray.
2. Splice tray for 1ea PLC splitter 4x4mm plus 9ea heat shrink fusion splices
5mm thick tray for 12 fusion splices can be stored in a lever (Pic 27).
5mm thick tray for 1 4x4 splitter + 9 splices (Pic 27b).
