What to do in case of problem

The hob or the cooking zone doesn't work:
• The hob is not connected to the mains.
• The safety fuse has blown.
• Check that the lock is off.
• Water or grease has splashed on the keys.
• An object is standing on the touch keys.
The [ F ] symbol is on:
• This zone is inoperative.
• Call the after-sales service.
The [ E ] symbol is on:
• The electronic system is out of order.
• Disconnect the hob and reconnect it.
Control panel indicates [ L ] 3 or 4 times:
• See "Locking" section.
Some zones or all zones fail:
• The safety switch was activated.
• This switch operates when you have forgotten to switch off a cooking zone.
• The safety switch is also activated if one or more of the touch keys is covered.
• A pot is empty and the bottom overheated.
• The hob also has an automatic power reduction feature and automatic switch-off for overhea-
ting.
Automatic cooking does not work:
• The cooking zone is still hot [ H ].
• The maximum cooking level is on [ 9 ].
The [ U ] symbol is on:
• See "Keeping warm" section.
The [ II ] symbol is on:
• See "Pause" section.
