Electrical connection

• The appliance may be installed and connected to the mains only by a qualified installer (electri-
cian) who is familiar with the applicable standards.
• After installation the live parts must remain protected.
• The relevant connection details are provided on the model plate and on the connection plate at
the bottom of the appliance.
• The appliance must be isolated from the mains by a multipole circuit breaker. In the open posi-
tion (not connected) the contact gap must be at least 3 mm.
• The appliance must be isolated from the mains by the necessary devices, such as circuit brea-
kers, fuses or contactors.
Caution!
This appliance is designed for connection to a 230 V ~ 50-60 Hz mains network.
Always connect the earth. Follow the connection diagram. The connection box is below the hob.
Open the lid by putting a screwdriver into the 2 slots before the 2 arrows.

Connection of the hob
Use the green/yellow wire as the earth, the blue wire as neutral N and the black wire as phase L.
Monophase 230V~1P+N (not for the Netherlands!)
Put the 1st bridge between terminal 1 and 2, the 2nd between 3 and 4. Attach the earth to the
terminate "earth", the neutral N to terminal 3 (or 4), the Phase L to one of the terminals 1 or 2.
Biphase 400V~2P+N
Put a bridge between terminal 3 and 4. Attach the earth to the terminate "earth", the neutral N
to terminal 3 (or 4), the Phase L1 to the terminals 1 and the Phase L2 to the terminal 2.
Biphase 230V~2P+2N
Attach L1 to terminal 1, L2 to terminal 2, N1 to terminal 3, N2 to terminal 4 and earth to terminal
"earth"
Note! Push the wires right through and tighten the screws firmly.
