3 Reprocessing Methods
Attention:
Lubricate the turbines before sterilization!
Be aware of the possible risks of the potentially moist environment of the sterilizer when leaving the instruments for extended periods in
the chamber with an unopened door. Follow the manufacturer's operating manual.
Storage
Observe the manufacturer's recommended shelf life for the sterilisation bags.

Remove the turbine from the sterilisation bag immediately prior to use.
•
Prepared turbines should be stored protected germ-free from dust in a dry, dark and cool room.

Additional information
When sterilising several instruments in one autoclave cycle, ensure that the autoclave's maximum load is not exceeded (see the
instructions for the autoclave used).
The sterilization bag must be large enough for the turbine so that the bag is not stretched.

The quality and use of the packaging of the items to be sterilized must satisfy the applicable standards and be appropriate for
sterilizing. Shrink-wrap the turbine separately in a sterilizable package!
