General warnings
To be used by dental practitioners only.
•
Perform maintenance on a regular basis.
•
Use good quality tools.
•
It is recommended that a dental dam be used during treatment.
•
Never dismantle the turbine. The device may only be dismantled by the approved distributor or at the factory.
•
Never press the push button while the device is rotating.
•
It is recommended that suitable protective gloves and eye protection be worn when handling the turbine and instruments.
•
For extended periods of use, relubricate every 10 minutes.
•

after sales department straight away in the event of a problem with the turbine.
•
Always remove the diamond tip if any part of the diamond is missing.
•
Check the instrument is present before starting up the turbine.
•
Warnings regarding reprocessing (cleaning - disinfection - lubrication - sterilisation).
Ensure that the turbine is sterilised and lubricated prior to initial use and between patients.
•
Remove the rotating parts (burs, files, etc.) before reprocessing.
•
Avoid soaking the turbine in a tub or ultrasonic cleaning system.
•
Avoid soaking the turbine in a special purpose detergent for longer than 15 minutes.
•
Avoid working with a turbine if it is overheating.
•
Use a detergent-disinfectant designed specifically for pre-disinfection of dynamic dental instruments, which contains neither sodium
•
oxide nor aldehyde and which is aluminium compatible. Do not use detergents or solutions which are alkaline (pH > 7).
Use the concentration recommended by the pre-disinfection product manufacturer.
•
Observe the immersion time recommended by the pre-disinfection product manufacturer.
•
Remove the turbine from the sterilisation bag immediately before use.
