3 Reprocessing Methods
Manual cleaning
(Steps to take after each treatment)
This turbine can be immersed (for a maximum of 15 minutes) during the pre-disinfection stage on condition that the following
•
requirements are met:
Use a detergent-disinfectant specifically designed for pre-disinfection of dynamic dental instruments which contains neither sodium
•
oxide nor aldehyde and which is aluminium compatible.
Use the concentration recommended by the pre-disinfection product manufacturer.
•
Observe the immersion time recommended by the pre-disinfection product manufacturer.
•
When the immersion phase is over, rinse thoroughly to drain away the solution/residues from inside the instrument.
•
Immediately after rinsing, dry the inside of the instrument meticulously with compressed air.
•
Before sterilisation, lubricate the instrument using a "500l" spray can.
•
The final three stages of the process (rinsing, drying and lubrication) may be carried out using automated devices available on the
•
market by following the manufacturer's instructions.
