3 Reprocessing Methods
Maintenance (Lubrication)
Insert the "500l" spray can into the back of the turbine.
•
Spray repeatedly for a few seconds each time until the liquid expelled is clean.
•
Turn the turbine before draining off the excess oil.
•
For extended periods of use, repeat these steps every 10 minutes.
•
Do not use vinegar to clean the spray nozzles.
•
Packaging
Once it has been prepared (manually or automatically) for sterilisation and lubrication, place the turbine in an airtight sterilisation bag:
Individually: A standard packaging material may be used. Ensure that the bag is large enough to hold the instrument without it pulling

on the seal.
In batches: The instruments may be placed in a special purpose instrument carrier or in separate, general purpose sterilisation trays.

Wrap the trays in the appropriate way.
Sterilisation

MICRO-MEGA dynamic instruments can be sterilised in a moist heat autoclave for 18 minutes at between 135° C (275° F) and 138° C
(280.4° F) with pressure of 2.2 bars inside each bag.
Sterilization in a sterilizer compliant with EN 13060
Contact corrosion from moisture can occur
Immediately remove the product from the steam sterilizer after the sterilization cycle is complete!
The turbine has a max. temperature resistance of 138° C (280.4° F).
