Troubleshooting

If you have problems with your telephone, please check the following points first. For any claims under the warranty,
please refer to your dealer. The warranty period is 2 years. The rechargeable batteries are covered by a 12 months
warranty.
No calls possible
Connection is cut off or drops
out
Dialling not possible
The system no longer
responds or is in an
undefined state.
The charging light does not
come on.
The battery symbol flashes in
the display after a few hours.
Display dark
No messages are recorded
No memo can be recorded.

The telephone line is not correctly connected or is faulty.
Use only the telephone cable provided.
Test whether your telephone connection is in order by using another
telephone.
The power supply is not plugged in or there is a total power failure.
The rechargeable standard batteries are flat or defective.
You are too far away from the base station.
You are too far away from the base station.
Incorrect position for the base station.
Dialling mode incorrectly set (see Chapter 8.2.4).
Reset all functions to the factory settings. Before doing so, briefly remove
the power supply from the socket.
Factory settings see Chapter 8.2.5.
Place the mobile unit properly on the base station, clean the contact
surfaces on the handset and on the base station with a soft, dry cloth.
Place the mobile unit on the base station for 16 hours.
If this does not help, replace the rechargeable standard batteries.
Caused by direct sunlight, allow the mobile unit to cool down.
The answering machine is switched off.
Delete messages in order to create more memory space.
Before recording a new memo, any existing memo has to be deleted.
