SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

5.1. Operating conditions of the devices

1. Individual assembly / Block assembly
The piezoelectric actuator Type 6115 is suitable for individual and
block assembly (see „Electrical data").
2. Ambient temperature range
The devices are suitable for an ambient temperature range of
-25 °C ... +65 °C (temperature class T6).
The piezoelectric actuator must be installed in a housing with a pro-
tection class of at least IP 20 according to EN 60529.
The ambient temperature range of the piezoelectric actuator must
not drop below -25 °C or exceed +65 °C both for individual and
block assembly.
The piezoelectric actuator may be used for switching non-combus-
tible media only.
The piezoelectric actuator shall only be operated in a built-in state,
or if otherwise can be guaranteed that explosive atmosphere will
penetrate into the interior valve only infrequently or for a short period.
The piezoelectric actuator may be connected to certified intrinsically
safe circuits only.
The supply must not exceed the specified limit values.
