Mushrooms
Mushrooms need to breathe and should never be sealed in plastic. The best way to
store mushrooms is to place them in your refrigerator in a brown paper sandwich
bag.
Meat, Fish and Poultry
For best results, wash the poultry or fish and gently pat them dry. Beef,
veal, lamb and pork should be patted dry. This extra step saves you time
when you are ready to cook and also helps to maintain the correct moisture
levels and shape. You can also place a paper towel in the bag before you
begin to vacuum seal to absorb excessive liquids and juices..
Use a clean paper towel to pat dry raw meat before vacuum sealing it.
Maintenance
1. Drip Tray: The drip tray can be removed from your sealer. It can be cleaned in warm, soapy water or
in the dishwasher.
a. Press the release tab to detach the drip
tray.
c. The items on the left are
dishwasher-safe. The items on the right
are not.
2. It is best to store the sealer with the lid unlocked. This allows the foam press pads to retain their
original shape and size.
Press the button to unlock the lid before storing your vacuum sealer. This helps keeping the foam pads
in good shape.
b. Remove the tray cover.
d. Pour out any liquids. Wash the items with
washing-up liquid or place them in the
dishwasher.
