The brown/white lead for disabling the parking aid is switched to earth for connected towed
vehicles and is only suitable for parking aids which can be deactivated by an activated earth.
Further information may be obtained from your workshop.
As illustrated in the wiring plan, all other wires are to be worn away at the respective vehicle
wires with cutter connectors.
It is essential to ensure that the cutter connectors are installed by a qualified person. The wire
connectors are to be closed off in the wires after the cutting. If the wire cross-sections of the
vehicle's wires are not between 0.75 and 1.0 mm
should be used.

Functional test:

Re-connect the earth wire to the battery.
Check that the electrical system is functioning properly. Use a trailer or suitable testing instru-
ment with load resistance to test the electrical system. The control unit may malfunction if a
testing instrument without load resistance is used.

supply stores under the Westfalia parts no. 300 025 300 113.
