Calibration
During calibration, the scale will display values of weights
to be loaded for proper calibration. In order to standardize
the instructions, these values have been replaced with X, Y
and they should be treated as the display indication of the
corresponding load weights (specified in the Table below)
necessary for the scale calibration.

Switch the scale on and wait until zero value is
shown. Press the MODE button (for the models
SBS-TW-10000, SBS-LW-500 and SBS-LW-10000) or
M button (for the models SBS-TW-3000 and SBS-
TW-500) and hold it for several seconds (about 2).
The display will show "CAL" and then the value X.
Load the scale with a weight of X mass. Once the
scale is stabilised, the display will show Y. Load the
scale with the weights of total mass equal Y. Wait
until the scale is stabilised and the display shows
"PASS" and then Y.

If calibration fails, the display will show ERR and then
the device will switch off automatically. If this is the
case, repeat the calibration process.

To interrupt the calibration, press the ON/OFF
button.

SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
The devices use 1.5V AAA. Dead batteries are removed
from the device in the same way they were installed.
Recycle the batteries with the appropriate facilities.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems.
Hand it over to an electronic and electrical device recycling
and collection point. Check the symbol on the product, user
manual and packaging. The plastics used to construct the
device can be recycled in accordance with their markings.
By recycling you are making a significant contribution to
the protection of our environment.
