Attention:
Improper connection of the seat occupation detector means danger
for drivers and for other people involved!
Crimp the flat plug receptacle (6) or the flat plug (4) onto the wires of
the seat connecting cable (2) for the seat occupation detector (c/d, e/d
or c/e) according to the type of wiring and design of the contacts on
the vehicle lines.
Notes:
The lines for seat occupation (c, d, e) have a diameter of 0.5 mm.

Therefore, use the smaller flat plug receptacles (6) and the smaller
flat plugs (4) of the installation kit.
Figure 3.2.2 exemplifies the connection with 3 flat plugs (6) on the
•
seat side.
6.5 Slide the flat plug receptacles (6) or the flat plug with the respective
wires (c/d, e/d or c/e) into the chambers of the receptacle shell (7) or
the connector shell (5).

Attention:
Absolutely observe correct polarity when connecting the wires of the
seat connecting cable (2)!
Power supply
Connect both wires of the power supply (f/g) with the supply lines of the
vehicle electrical system (b) (Figure 3.2.1, page 72),.
8 Vehicles with detection of the seat occupation:
Connect the respective wires (c/d, e/d or c/e) with the vehicle cables fort
he seat occupation (Figure 3.2.2, page 72).
