Release the press-studs in the centre of the
backrest and pull out the ends inserted in the
relevant slots of the child car seat (Fig. 31).
To complete removal, remove the headrest
from above (Fig. 32); complete removal by
pulling out the lower part of flap (Fig. 33)
How to clean the plastic or metal parts
Clean the plastic and coated metal parts with a
damp cloth only. Never use abrasive detergents
or solvents.
The moving parts of the child Car seat must
not be lubricated.
CHECKING THE CONDITION OF THE COM-
PONENTS
It is recommended to regularly check the con-
dition of the following components to make
sure they are not damaged or worn:
• fabric cover: check that the padding does
not come out from the seams. Check the
condition of the seams: they must always be
intact and undamaged.
• belts: check that the fabric lining is not frayed
or the harness strap worn out in the parts
corresponding to the adjustment strap, crotch
strap, shoulders and harness adjustment plate.
• plastic parts: check that the plastic parts are
not worn out, damaged or faded.
WARNING! If the child car seat is damaged,
deformed or worn out, it must be replaced,
as its original safety features may have been
compromised.
STORING THE PRODUCT
When it is not fitted in the car, it is recommend-
ed to store the child car seat in a dry place, away
from sources of heat and to protect it from dust,
humidity and direct sunlight.
12. WARNINGS ELECTRICAL PARTS
• To replace the battery: loosen the screw locat-
ed on the back of the mirror, open the cover,
remove the drained battery from the com-
partment, insert the new battery, making sure
that correct battery polarity is observed, refit
the cover and tighten the screw fully (Fig. 34).
• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.
• Use a 3V, CR 2032 battery similar to the type rec-
ommended for operation of this product.
• Always keep batteries and tools out of the
reach of children.
• Always remove flat batteries from the prod-
uct to prevent any possible liquid leaks from
damaging it.
• Do not throw dead batteries in fire or leave
them in the environment; they must be dis-
posed of through waste sorting.
• If the batteries are leaking liquid, replace
them immediately, making sure to clean the
battery compartment; thoroughly wash your
hands if they have come into contact with the
liquid. Always dispose of leaking batteries
immediately: they can cause burns or other
types of injuries.
• Prevent the electric part from coming into
contact with water or fluids; water infiltrations
will damage the electronic circuit.
13. DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
When the child car seat no longer complies
with the original safety standards, stop using
it and dispose of it to an appropriate collection
point. Dispose of it always following environ-
mental rules and regulations adopted within
the country of use.

The crossed bin symbol on the ap-
pliance indicates that the product, at
the end of its life, must be disposed
of separately from domestic waste,
either by taking it to a separate waste disposal
site for electric and electronic appliances or
by returning it to your dealer when you buy
another similar appliance. The user is responsi-
ble for taking the appliance to a special waste
disposal site at the end of its life. If the disused
appliance is collected correctly as separate
waste, it can be recycled, treated and disposed
of ecologically; this avoids a negative impact
on both the environment and health, and con-
tributes towards the recycling of the product's
materials. For further information regarding
the waste disposal services available, contact
your local waste disposal agency or the shop
where you bought the appliance.
