The crossed bin symbol on the
battery or its packaging, means
that the batteries, at the end of their life,
should be disposed of separately from the
municipal waste stream via designated col-
lection facilities appointed by the govern-
ment or the local authorities, or otherwise
returned to the dealer when purchasing new
equivalent rechargeable or non-rechargea-
ble batteries. Chemical symbols (Hg for mer-
cury, Cd for cadmium, Pb for lead) printed
beneath the crossed-out wheeled bin sym-
bol indicate the type of substance contained
in the battery. The user is responsible for tak-
ing the batteries to special waste disposal
sites at the end of their life so they can be
processed and recycled. The correct disposal
of spent batteries by means of separate
waste collection and subsequent recycling,
treatment and environmentally sound dis-
posal will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and hu-
man health and favour the recycling of the
materials of which the batteries are made.
Improper disposal of the product by the user
may harm the environment and human

equipment type P123BSCS is in compliance

In accordance with European Commission
Decision No. 2000/299/EC dated 06/04/2000,
the frequency band used by this product has
been harmonised for all EU Countries and this is
therefore a Class 1 product which can be used
in all European Union Countries.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed against any con-
formity defect in normal conditions of use as
provided for by the instructions. The warranty
shall not therefore apply in the case of damage
caused by improper use, wear or accidental
events. For the duration of the warranty on
conformity defects please refer to the specific
provisions of applicable national laws in the
country of purchase, where appropriate.
