Introduction
An HF sensor luminaire contains an integrated high frequency
motion sensor for movement detection.
The sensor sends out active high frequency electromagnetic
waves (5.8 GHz) and responds to modifications to waves re-
flected back from persons or objects.
Please keep the Nextrema+HFS operating and installation
instructions for future reference.

Safety information

• Work with electrical devices of the sensor luminaires must
only be carried out with disconnected power supply.
• Valid safety and accident prevention regulations must be
observed.
• Please observe the corresponding installation steps of the
installation instructions for the luminaire to be installed.
Sensor luminaires are only suitable for the applications speci-
fied here. Other applications are considered improper.
If the sensor luminaire is used improperly then safe operation
cannot be guaranteed.

Switchable version
Single luminaire with integrated HF motion sensor for ab-
sence-dependent switching of the luminaire, with and without
through-wiring.
Function
Upon detecting a movement in the HF detection range the
luminaire is switched on automatically for a pre-defined hold
time. Upon expiry of the hold time and if no further movement
is detected, the luminaire switches off again.
The HF sensor also features a daylight sensor that only swit-
ches on the luminaire when the pre-set light threshold has
been reached or when the light level falls below this threshold.
Settings
All of the following functions and parameters can be set via an
infrared remote control LMS HFS RMC (TOC 6122900).

Hold time (TIME)
If a movement is detected the sensor switches the lighting on
for a pre-defined time period. The hold time can be varied in
five steps from 1 minute to 30 minutes via the remote control
LMS HFS RMC (TOC 6122900).
