When pushing the button „TRANSMIT" (17), the red LED (16) will light up briefly to display transmission of the mea-
sured data.
Two more temperature/humidity sensors can be logged on to the weather station. They are not part of the
delivery but can be ordered separately.
For the weather station to find the outdoor sensors, insert the batteries in the outdoor sensors first and only
then take the weather station into operation.
Alternatively, start a manual search for the available outdoor sensors, see chapter 11. a).
After completion of the outdoor sensor search, the receiver display for the DCF signal in the upper right of
the display flashes, see adjacent figure.
DCF signal search will take about 3 - 5 minutes. Push no buttons at the weather station during this time and
do not move the weather station. Observe chapter 10 on DCF reception.
The weather station is now ready for operation.
Important!
After each battery change of the outdoor sensor or when the weather station is being disconnected from
the power supply (disconnect plug-in mains adapter and remove batteries), the wind vane alignment must
be calibrated again.
We recommend proceeding according to chapters 9. a), c), d) and e).
f) Setting up the Weather Station
The firmly integrated support (9) on the back of the weather station permits setup on a level, stable area. Protect
valuable furniture surfaces from scratches with suitable pads.
Select a place that is not close to any metal parts, electrical/electronic devices or cables. They have a
negative influence on the radio reach and DCF reception.
