Never let any unauthorised persons, especially
children, get near the appliance unattended. Keep
children and other unauthorised persons out of reach of
the appliance at all tim es.

Unplug the appliance before filling, after putting it out of
operation, w hen removing failures and before servicing
the appliance.

Protect the cable against excessive temperature, oil and
sharp edges.
General instructions:
Before using the pump, a visual inspection should alw ays be
carried out to find any damage of the pump, especially the
electric cable and the plug.
A damaged pump must not be used.
Have any damaged pump checked in the GÜDE service
centre or by an authorised electrician.
Do not expose the pump to rain and do not use it in a moist or
w et environment.
To prevent the pump from running dry, please make sure
there is a pump medium in the pump body.
Fill the pump w ith the pumped liquid until it overflow s every
time the appliance is to be started!
When the pump is used as a home pumping station, local
regulations of w ater and sew erage companies need to be
follow ed.
Moreover, DIN 1988 provision must be adhered to.
Behaviour in case of em ergency
Provide necessary first aid treatment corresponding to the
injury nature and seek qualified medical help as soon as
possible. Protect the injured person from other injuries and
calm him/her dow n.
First aid kit m ust alw ays be available in the place of your
w ork in case of accident in accordance w ith DIN 13164.
Material taken out of the first aid kit needs to be
supplem ented right aw ay.
