Warranty
A w arranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use
and 24 months apply to private use and commences on the
day of purchase of the device.
Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective
material or w orkmanship. An original sale slip w ith indication
of date of sale must be presented in case of claiming for the
w arranty rights.
Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as device
overload, violent use, damage caused by third party or foreign
materials, failure to comply w ith operations and assembly
manual, and normal w ear and tear.
General safety instructions
PLEASE FOLLOW CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS
TO GUARANTEE A HIGH SAFETY LEVEL:
The pum p is not appropriate to be operated for a
long tim e (e.g. as a circulating pum p in ponds or stream
flow s). If used in this m anner, the service life is
shortened accordingly. In such a case, use a tim er and
provide long breaks between individual operating cycles.
The pum p m ust not be connected to the existing
w ater supply system as an appliance increasing pressure.
The pum p is not appropriate as a long-term,
autom atic protection against overflow of tanks and w ells
or to control underground water in cellars.
Do not leave the pum p unattended to prevent
dam age as a result of any w rong function. The pum p
m ust necessarily be unplugged w hen not used.
Caution: Operation is only allowed w ith a safety
sw itch against stray current (m ax. stray current of 30m A
pursuant to VDE regulation part 702). Please contact your
electrician.

The user is responsible to any third party as far as using
the pump (pumping station, etc.) is concerned.
To be used on connections w ith a safety sw itch against
stray current only (FI)!
Before putting the unit in operation, a skilled electrician
should check w hether the required electrical safety
devices are available.
Electrical connection w iring should be done via a socket.
Check the voltage. Technical details on the plate should
conform to the line voltage.
If the pump is used in ponds, w ells etc. and related pumping
stations, the standards of the use of pumps in respective
countries apply.
The pumps used outdoors (e.g. in ponds, etc.) must be
fitted w ith a rubber connection cable, H07RNF type,
according to DIN 57282 or DIN 57245 standards.
If the pum p is being operated, no person or anim al
m ust stay or plunge in the w ater to be pum ped (e.g.,
pools, cellars, etc.).
The temperature of the pumped liquid must not exceed
+35 °C. If an extension cable is used, it must exclusively
be out of rubber, H07RNF type, according to DIN 57282
or DIN 57245 standards. Never touch, lift or carry the
pump by cable w hen plugged. It is necessary to make
sure the connection socket is in a distance from w ater
and moisture and the plug is protected against moisture.
Before putting the pump into operation, check w hether
the electric cable and/or outlet are not damaged.
Unplug the appliance before any w ork on the pump.
If the pump is defective, repair must only be provided
by an authorized service centre. Original spare parts to
be used only.
Please note that according to the standards in force
w e w ill not assume any liability for dam age incurred
by our appliances in the follow ing cases:
Unauthorised repairs executed by unauthorised
service centres;
Use in conflict to the designation or failure to use
the appliance as designated;
Pump overloading by continuous operation;
Damages as a result of icing and other defects
caused by climatic influences;
An electrician m ust necessarily be
contacted if the feeder cable is dam aged. Do
not execute any repair w ith your ow n hands in
any case.
This appliance has not been designed
to be used by persons (including children)
w ith physical, sensory or m ental lim itation.
Persons lacking experience in or know ledge
of the appliance m ust also not w ork w ith the
appliance.
