CALIBRATION OF THE REDOX PROBE

Before proceeding to a calibration, provide you of the standard solution (470 mV).
Unscrew then remove the nut and the pH probe pH of the probe holder. Use the cork supplied to fill the
opening.
 Reach the setting menu : press 3 s on the key
 Select the code « CA » with the keys
 The screen flashes alternatively « rE » and then « 47 », value of the standard solution.

If the measured value is right, the device shows « Oh » and then return to the previous menu.
If one of the values is not right, the device shows « Er ». Your probe is probably no more usable (lifespan),
contact your professional to proceed to the replacement.
 Rinse the redox probe in water and drain it without drying it with a rag.
 Remove the cork and then put back the probe in the probe holder.

7/ DIAGNOSIS OF THE FAILURES

In case of production failure or doubt on the well running of the device, launch the self-diagnosis program:
 Reach the control menu : press 3s on
 Select the code « tE » using
At the end of the program (around 1 minute), the device shows it result :

The self-diagnosis detected a problem of power inside the electronic box. The chlorination cell should

not be involved.
Contact a professional so that he can proceed to the repair of the electronic box.
The self-diagnosis has not detected any problem coming from the electronic box or the chlorination
cell.

If you have a problem of chlorine production, check that the salt level is higher than 2,5 Kg/m
the pH is close to 7-7.2, then contact a professional for an analysis.
The self-diagnosis detected a problem coming from the cell. The electronic box is not involved.

1/ Check visually that the chlorination cell is not scaled. If it is the case, see § 6.4, p. 39.
2/ Check that the connections of the cell are not oxidized and well squeezed.
3/ In most of the cases, this code indicates that your cell is totally used and cannot produce any more
of chlorine. Contact a professional to proceed to the replacement of the cell.
