CHECK THE WATER PARAMETERS
When installing the device for the first time or at the start of a new season, it is imperative to check and
correct the following points :
State of water
Water temperature
A regulated pH
7,0 < pH < 7,4
Stabilizing agent rate
< 35 ppm
Free chlorine rate
> 1.0 ppm
TAC
De 10°f à 30°f
TH < 60°f
Be careful : the non compliance with these 7 recommendations will involve inevitably a misuse of the
device, what may annul the guarantee
Be careful with natural water sources (drilling waters) !
Preferably use water from the public water supply. Avoid using any water from natural sources (rain, run off
water, reservoirs, and wells) under risk of early deterioration of chlorinator cell.
The efficiency of a chemical treatment using some chlorine decreases very quickly with the increase of the pH.
The scale deposit settles all the more fast as the pH is raised or unstable.
To maintain then your pH in the recommended range, use exclusively a pH corrective product (acid or basic) advised
by your professional. For your comfort, think to settle an automatic regulation of the pH.

The pool water must be clear, free from algae or deposits
Superior to 15°C
The pH of the pool must be necessarily regulated and between 7,0 and 7,4. A
wrong pH regulation will entail punctually or sometimes permanently a
malfunction of the redox controller.
For an optimal functioning of the redox probe, it is advised to have a stabilizing
agent rate (cyanuric acid) inferior to 35 particle by one million (mg/l).
Water must be already chlorinated with a rate superior to 1.0 particle by one
million (mg/l). Make a chlorination shock if necessary.
The TAC (Permanent Hardness) insure the buffer power of the water, it must be
between 10°f to 30°f.
The TH indicates the hardness of water, it means the calcium or magnesium salts
content dissolved in water. The hardness of water can't exceed 60°f.
