12. Maintenance and Cleaning

Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are
no components on the inside of the product that require maintenance by you. Therefore,
you should never open it (apart from the procedure for inserting or replacing the batteries
as described in these instructions).
To clean the outside of the room thermostat, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not press too hard on the display, as this may cause scratch marks or lead
to faulty displays or even a broken screen.
Dust on the casing can easily be removed with a clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use any aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since this may
damage the surface of the casing or even impair operation.
