b) Cooling function (switch position: COOL)
Use the cooling function on hot days (e.g. in the summer).
If e.g. an air conditioner is connected to the switch output COOLING (see connec-
tion diagram chapter "6. Installation and connection"), this air conditioner is activat-
ed or deactivated depending on the set temperature threshold (adjustment via the
"Temperature adjuster" (2)).
Example for the switching mode for the cooling function:
Set the "Temperature adjuster" (2) to +16°C.
This turns the air conditioner on when the temperature rises 1 degree above 16°C.
The air conditioner is turned off when the temperature falls 1 degree below 16°C.
c) Switch position OFF
In the switch position OFF, the thermostat is turned off and thus deactivated.

9. Maintenance and cleaning

Apart from an incidental cleaning this product is maintenance-free.
Please use a clean, lint-free and dry antistatic cloth to clean the motion detector.
