10. Installation

Caution, important!
Observe Chapter „5. Safety Notes" and „9. Preparations for Installation"!
• Open the casing by first unscrewing the single screw (1) on the right side. Then carefully
fold apart the two casing halves by about 45° until the upper part of the casing can be
lifted off.
• Remove the screw (2) for the protective cover (3) and carefully remove the protective
cover.
• Use the fastening apertures (4) to screw the room thermostat to the wall. Guide the
connection cable through the aperture (5).
Use appropriate screws and dowels according to the surface. When drilling or tightening
screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged.
• Connect the power supply to the screw
terminals (6). The relay is potential-free.
NC =
Opener contact (NC = „normally
closed" = The contact is closed
when not activated)
NO =
Closer contact (NO = „normally
open" = The contact is open when
not activated)
COM = Centre contact
• Replace the protective cover (3) again and secure it with the screw (2).
The room thermostat must only be operated with the correctly attached and
screwed-on protective cover.
If the protective cover is missing or wrongly installed, there is a danger to life from
electrical shock during battery replacement!
• If you have not done so yet, insert two type AA/mignon batteries in the battery
compartment (7) with the correct polarity; see Chapter 8.
• Close the casing by placing the upper part with the catches (8) on the two corresponding
openings in the lower casing part at an angle of about 45° and then closing the upper part
of the casing. Retighten the screw (1) turned out in the beginning. The room thermostat
is now ready for operation.
