INSTRUCTION MANUAL
In case of frequent brakes, start-ups, uphill, headwind running, muddy roads,
•
overload and others, a large quantity of electric power of the storage battery will be con-
sumed, thus affecting the continued mileage; we recommend you avoid the above factors
when riding.
If the storage battery is disabled for a long time, make sure to charge it enough;
•
it needs to be additionally charged once if its storage is longer than a month.
•
Make sure to pay attention: the electric bike cannot wade for a long time; if wa-
ter enters the controller and/or motor wheel, it may cause a short circuit, damaging the
electrical appliance!
Prohibit unauthorized demolition or alteration; the company is not responsible
•
for all losses resulting.
•
The scrapped battery cannot be disposed of randomly. Please dispose of it cor-
rectly.
Notes
At time of purchase, please select and buy a model that is suitable for your needs. Only
drivers with a skilled driving technique should drive on the roads. In order to ensure a
correct and safe use, please pay attention to what follows:
During use, regularly check the fastening status of motor and rear fork; if a loose
•
phenomenon is found, it should be tightened timely.
•
When starting the power supply or meeting a steep slope, keep pedalling as far
as possible to reduce the starting current and extend the battery life and the mileage.
During rainy days, please pay special attention to: when the water depth is more
•
than the wheel centre, it is likely for the motor to soak water, thus resulting in failure.
•
Users must use the charger specified by manufacturer for charging the storage
battery. When charging, move the battery and charger smoothly.
Do not cover the battery box and charger; a good ventilation should be main-
•
tained.
Please keep appropriate tyre air pressure, to avoid increasing the resistance
•
when driving, and easily wear the tires and deform the rim.
•
Drivers should abide by traffic rules; the riding speed should be controlled below
25km/h.
When high-speed running or downhill hard braking, do not use the front brake to
•
avoid the centre of gravity from moving ahead, thus resulting in danger.
FACTORS AFFECTING THE BATTERY CAPACITY OF THE ELECTRIC BIKE:
-
DRIVER'S PEDAL– The battery capacity increases if the driver has a constant pedal.
On the contrary, by frequently interrupting the pedal, the battery capacity decreases;
ITINERARY STRUCTURE– the battery capacity is extended, if the itinerary is on level
-
ground.
WEATHER CONDITIONS – low temperatures can affect the battery performance. In
-
extremely windy days, a greater battery capacity would be reached if you ride downwind
or, vice versa, a worse battery capacity would be obtained if you ride against wind;
-
ITINERARY CONDITIONS – the battery capacity is extended if the road or the
ground is flat and without depressions;
-
DRIVER'S WEIGHT – lower is the driver's weight, greater is the battery capacity, since the
load is less;
-
BICYCLE MAINTENANCE – Good maintenance will keep a greater bike perfor-
mance;
-
TYRE PRESSURE – Good tyre pressure reduces friction while riding and makes easier
pedalling.
-
BATTERY – a charged, correctly maintained battery guarantees a greater capacity. Store
battery at low temperatures (under 50°F or 10°C) affects its capacity.
