Adjustment method of the brake shoe block:
1 Loosen the positioning bolt;
2 Adjust the distance of the shoe block using the left and right knob; Adjusting the left
knob of the shoe block, the distance of the brake shoe block is increased, and vice versa
it becomes smaller (as shown in the disk chart). Depending on the circumstances, the
braking is adjusted;
WARNING - THE DISC BECOMES HOT! Do not touch the disc when it is hot to avoid dan-
gerous accidents. Be careful not to bring your legs and hands together.
WARNING - Disc brakes must be run in. Ride and use the brakes gently for at least 20 km
before using the brakes downhill or for sudden braking or any other important braking. The
brake system will change its performance during use. The disc brake must be cleaned us-
ing a little alcohol before riding the bicycle for the first time. NEVER use oil or oil products
to clean the disc brake.
WARNING - Never touch the disc with hands that are dirty with grease or oil, as they could
contaminate the rotor and / or the pads and consequently decrease the effectiveness of the
brakes
Common sense of the use of braking system:
* When the distance between the brake shoe block and the rim is too large, it is neces-
sary to adjust it using the brake lever or the adjusting screw on the folder gate device.
* When the lines of the brake shoe block are worn out seriously, replace it timely in order
to maintain traffic safety.
* When not riding for a long time, please loosen the folder device to avoid fatigue of flexi-
bility but pay attention to recovery of the gate device before riding.
* When riding in rainy days, the function of any gate device will be weakened, so please
keep a longer safe braking distance and reduce the speed.
* The surface on the brake disc or shoe block may not be oiled, so as to avoid serious
injury.
* If the brake cable is ripped, it may cause the brake cable to be broken and this is very
dangerous, please replace timely.
MECHANISM OF THE DERAILLEUR
The derailleur mechanism includes the rear derailleur, the gear lever and the derailleur
control cables. All these elements must work properly for the gearbox to be effective and
work properly.
Inspection
The operation of the derailleur system must be checked at least once a month. The rear de-
railleur should move the chain precisely from one pinion to another without problems. After
the change, the rear derailleur must not rub against the chain. The front derailleur must never
cause the chain to fall inside or outside the freewheel sprockets.
The chain must never fall from the crown. The front derailleur's control cables are a critical
component that must have a correct maintenance in order to guarantee the best performance
