Making ice cubes
➤ Fill the ice cube tray up to three quarters full with water.
➤ Place the ice tray in the freezer compartment (fig. 1 7, page 3) of the
refrigerator.

Switching off the refrigerator
Proceed as follows:

NOTE
If you are not going to use the refrigerator for a long time, leave the door
slightly ajar as follows:
• 2-button door lock: Lock the door on the rear hole (fig. 7,
page 5).
• Rotary door lock: Secure the door with the door lock (fig. 8,
page 6).
This prevents mould from forming.
➤ Shut off the gas supply in the vehicle and the valve to the gas cylinder.

Using the optional battery compartment

NOTICE!
• Do not use different types of batteries.
• Avoid short circuits at the contacts in the battery compartment.
The optional battery compartment is located directly behind the control panel of the
refrigerator (fig. 1 1, page 3).
You can insert eight AA batteries to create an autonomous power supply if the volt-
age cuts out due to the vehicle battery. The battery compartment switches on auto-
matically. While the power is supplied from the battery compartment the refrigerator
can only be operated with gas.
