Inserting/changing the batteries (fig. 5, page 5)
➤ Switch off the refrigerator as described in chapter "Switching off the refrigerator"
on page 26.
➤ Open the refrigerator door.
➤ Press in the lugs under the control panel.
➤ Take out the control panel with the battery compartment.
➤ Remove all the batteries.

Protect the environment!
Do not dispose of any batteries with general household waste.
Return defective or used batteries to your retailer or dispose of them at
collection points.
➤ Insert eight new batteries (type AA). Make sure the polarity is correct.
➤ Insert the control panel again until it clicks into place.
7.8 Removing the freezer compartment
Proceed as follows (fig. 6, page 5):
➤ Release the freezer compartment on both sides (A).
➤ Remove the freezer compartment (B).

NOTE
• Keep the freezer compartment in a safe place to prevent any
damage.
• When installing, replace the parts in the reverse order.
7.9 Setting the 2-button door lock
➤ Close the door.
➤ Press the button (fig. 7 A, page 5) to lock the door.
➤ Press the unlock button (fig. 7 B, page 5) to unlock the door.
7.10 Setting the rotary door lock
➤ Turn the lock forwards to lock the refrigerator door while the vehicle is moving
(fig. 8, page 6).
