During Reassembly
Wrap 3 – 3.5 turns of
sealing tape around the
threads or coat with sealing
compound and screw into
trap unit (main valve unit);
tighten to the proper torque
Tighten to the proper
torque
Insert securely into the
groove in the X-element
guide
Reinsert after making sure
of the proper orientation
Apply anti-seize to the
threads, tighten to the
proper torque
Make sure the X-element
can be inserted smoothly
During Disassembly
Remove with a socket
wrench
Be careful not to misplace
Remove the gasket and
clean the sealing surfaces
