INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY AND USE

CONGRATULATIONS ON PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT!
Please read these instructions carefully. The instructions are an integral compo-
nent of the product. Therefore, please store them and the packaging carefully
in case questions arise in the future. Please always include these instructions
when handing on the product to a third party. This product must be assembled by
an adult. This product is not designed for industrial use. The use of the product
requires certain capabilities and skills. Always adjust according to the age of the
user and use for the purpose it has been designed for.

quired for the installation and use of the product.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the basketball stand on a firm and level surface and make sure this
piece of equipment is positioned securely and firmly.
• Check that all connections have been tightly fastened before using the bas-
ketball stand and check again later!
• Always fill the counterweight bag with sand, so that the stability of the basket-
ball stand is assured and it cannot fall forwards. Use the supplied sandbags in
order to protect the bag.
• This training equipment is NOT a toy!
• Never allow children to play in the immediate proximity of this piece of trai-
ning equipment without supervision and never let them assemble it.
• Never use the basketball stand near water or leave it outside in the rain.
• Wear suitable clothing when training. The clothes must be constituted in such
a way that they cannot catch in anything during the training due to their fit.
• Always wear training shoes, and never train in bare feet, or when wearing
sandals, socks or stockings.
• Never wear jewellery which could catch in the basketball basket.
• Do not climb up the basketball stand.
• Do not hang off the basket or make slam dunks, the basketball stand could tip
over.
• If you start to feel unwell, discontinue training immediately.
• Only suitable for outdoor use.
TOOLS REQUIRED
• 13 mm hexagon wrench key
• 6 mm Allen screw key
• Rubber hammer (not included in the delivery)
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
The product must be assembled by 2 adults.
Step 1:
Screw the lower vertical tube (2) with the screws (11), washers (12) and nuts (13)
on the base frame (1). (Fig. 1)
Step 2:
Connect the base frame (1) and the lower vertical tube (2) with the diagonal
struts (3). You should for this purpose use the screws (15) on the base frame, the
screws (14) at the upper end of the struts, as well as the washers (12) and nuts
(13). (Fig. 2)
All images are examples of the design.
Step 3:
Insert the supports (9+10) through the prefabricated loops of the weight pocket
(23) and then into the sleeves of the base frame. The three sandbags (24) are
used as to fill the weight pocket. Then assemble the textile base cover (22) on the
front part of the base frame. (Fig. 3)
Step 4:
Mount the net (19) onto the basket ring (4). (Fig. 4)
Step 5:
Connect the basket ring (4), backboard (5) and rear connecting tube (6) to each
other. You should for this purpose use the screws (16), as well as the washers
(12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 5)
Step 6:
Connect the middle and upper vertical tube (8+7). You should for this purpose use
the screws (17), as well as the washers (12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 6)
Step 7:
Plug the connecting tube from basket and backboard (6) onto the upper vertical
tube (7) and screw it tight at the desired height. The height can be varied between
230 and 305 cm. You should for this purpose push the connecting tube (6) to the
desired height, so that the pre-drilled holes are superimposed. You can now firm-
ly screw the connecting tube (6) onto the upper vertical tube (7) with the screws
(18), as well as the washers (12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 7)
Step 8:
Connect the lower with the middle vertical tube (2+8). You should for this purpose
use the screws (17) as well as the washers (12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 8)
Step 9:
Mount the textile covers (25+26) onto the middle vertical tube (8) as well as onto
the base frame. (Fig. 9)
Transport:
When filled with sandbags, the stand is very heavy and weighs up to 115 kg. You
should remove the sandbags in advance, in order to be able to move the stand.
You need a helper who should raise the front end of the foot while you concomi-
tantly pull the rod towards you, as illustrated (Fig. 10). Once the weight has been
shifted onto the transport rollers, you can roll the basketball stand to the desired
location. Please note that frequent transport may damage the stand or the frame
structure, due to the heavy weight.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special cleaning
agents! Check the product for damage or traces of wear and tear before and after
each use. Do not make any structural changes. For your own safety, please use
original spare parts only. These can be sourced from HUDORA. If parts become
damaged or if sharp edges or corners should develop, the product may not be
used any more. If in any doubt, please contact our service team (http://www.
hudora.de/). Store the product in a safe place where it is protected from the
elements, cannot be damaged, and cannot injure anyone.
DISPOSAL ADVICE
At the end of the product's life, please dispose of it at an appropriate collection
point provided in your area. Local waste management companies will be able to
answer your questions on this.
